Meet Us!

Hello fellow readers my name is Alexis, I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. I am a mother and a wife.

I love Art, Fashion, Music and Reading.
I consider myself a romance junkie because I'll read any genre as long as two people in the book are falling in love.

My passion for reading came about after reading the Twilight series. It sparked something in me. Something I don't think I even realized at the time.

Today I consider myself to be an avid reader. On average I read and review at least 4 sometimes 5 books a week. I love reviewing and sharing with other readers aside from family nothing brings me more joy better then a good book!

I have always had a love for books. I grew up reading the likes of Sweet Valley High and Babysitters Club ( am I giving my age away here?!). As I got older I moved on to more adult books from authors like Danielle Steele and Nora Roberts.

I never knew there were any other kind of authors out there other than the ones you find in the bookstores. But earlier this year I stumbled upon a book by an Indie author (Thoughtless was the book!) and decided to read it. That day literally changed my life! Since then I have been glued to my IPad. Who knew there were so many wonderful books out there!?!

Luckily, I am a SAHM mom who a has a very understanding hubby and son about my reading addiction. So while they are away at work and school I can be found devouring my latest find in the book world.

I'm a 31 years old Spanish girl who loves reading, DUH! Reading is my escape from real life and from long working days. I am a sucker for romance, dark reads and I love MM genre. If you haven't tried it yet you are missing big time. I live in the South of Spain, in a city called Malaga very close to the beach. I have a lovely boyfriend who complains way too much about my reading time and I hope we'll have our HEA one day. Writing reviews and sharing my thoughts about the books I love is one of my passions.

A bit about me...  I'm 41 years old, married to my high school sweetheart, we've been together for 26 years and have three children (young adults).  I work full time in an advertising agency in Napier, New Zealand..  I love reading and inhale 5-7 books a week.  I love contemporary new adult books, especially by indie authors.  If I really enjoy an e-book I buy it in paperback and currently have 60 or so books by indie authors that I share with friends and work colleagues so they can experience the love too :) I also buy audio versions of my favorite books to listen to when I'm exercising or gardening.  I don't watch any TV and my kids are independent so I have plenty of time to read to my hearts content.

  1. My story is almost identical to yours! I am a 38 yo mother of two. I hated reading as a kid and a friend was so into the Twilight series that I just had to read it. I fell in love and read it 4 times! I was so upset because I thought there couldn't be any other good books out there. I found goodreads, three years and 500 books later I have to say I am a little addicted! My daughters art project was a picture of me reading my Kindle!
