My ThoughtsI have read alot of NA lately and have to admit, I am getting burned out. Seems they are all kind of running together and the only thing that is really changing are the character names. So, needless to say, I was a bit worried that It Was You was going to be just like the rest. Let me say, I WAS SO VERY WRONG!! 
I felt bad for Abby from the beginning. I could not imagine being in her position. Everything you hear about about twins and their bond did NOT hold true for Abby and Annika. There was a definite level of jealously going on for both twins. But Annika took hers to the extreme. I must say I hated her more and more as the book went on. 
West Montgomery is my new book boyfriend and I am not sharing!!! I fell for his bad boy personality hard. But under all that bad boy exterior is a softie at heart. I mean he bakes chocolate chip cookies for Abby on their first date, does it get any sweeter than that?! 
I won't lie, I kinda saw the twist coming. It was inevitable really. But it took nothing away from the story for me. Because even though I knew what was going to happen, I didn't know what the reactions were going to be. Or if the parties involved would be able to recover. 
This author has taken the NA genre to a new level with her debut novel. She added a unique twist that, even though i figured out before it happened, I personally have never seen done before. She grabs you from the first chapter and keeps you wrapped up in the story until the very end. I seriously read this book in one sitting because I could not walk away. And even when it ended, I still wanted more! 
Anna cruise is an author to watch out for because this is only the beginning for her!! 
Oh, and there is NO CLIFFHANGER!! 

Review: Keeping Never (Never Say Never #3 by C.M. Stunich

I knew before reading this book, that Ty's story was going to be the hardest for me. And boy was I right! I honestly do not know how he survived the things that he saw and did, especially at such a young age. It shows how much of a survivor he is. Anything he and Never face from here on out will be a cake walk compared to his past.
"You want me to give you a happy ever after or some shit? Am I right? Well, I can't do that. I can give you a happy for now because that's all there really is to life."
Ty slowly gives Never the pieces of his past. He can not stomach doing it all at once. And I honestly don't think Never could have handled it all in one dose. It was a lot to take in, even having it broken down. But she holds it together and is there for him in the way only she can be. No one else could handle Ty or his past. They are perfect for one another. 
"He makes me want to split my body open and release my soul, let it fly and not care how black it is, how tarnished." 
I both loved and hated this book. I loved getting more of Ty and Never's story. And finally being able to have a better understanding of Ty and his demons. And seeing how Never was there to support Ty in the same way he did her. 
But what I hated, was knowing it was the end. I felt like their story was ending just as it truly was beginning. But I am hoping (based on a little note from the author in the back of the book) that we may see more of them through Never's siblings books. 
Regardless if we get more Never and Ty, or if this truly the end, I loved the way things wrapped up for them. Because no two characters ever deserved a HEA more than them!!

My Thoughts:
This book is a solid 4 for me.  I absolutely love KA and everything that she writes.  I just had difficulty with the para part.
I know your thinking, didn't she read what it was about before reading?  Yes, I did that is why I am not knocking the book.  It is my own personal preference. 
This being said it is an awesomely well written book. Totally descriptive.  Totally awesome character development.  Totally likeable characters.
Overall, not my thing, but if you are a para fan you will love this.

My Thoughts

Oh where do I begin with this review? I guess I can start with the beginning....

When I first started reading this, I felt like I had read it before. It kept reminding me of another book. Young girl, just graduated high school, sheltered life, going off to college, breaking out of her shell? Any of this sound familiar?! It is funny because right when I said "hey this is just like Taking Chances!", the author herself brought attention to that fact. And you will find that there are many other books you may have read recently mentioned in this one! And I have to say, I LOVED it!

Now, do not let the above deter you from reading this book. Although it does have similarities to others, this story is its own. There is a uniqueness to it that you won't find in any other book. I loved Erin's writing style. The flow of the book made it easy to become engrossed in Scarlett's life and made you have to keep turning the page!

And the boys!! Oh, the yummy HAWT boys. 

First, we have Ash. Be still my heart! As soon as the author described him I immediately pictured a younger Charlie Hunnam, and he will forever be who I picture as Ash!  He is your typical college hottie who goes through women like most frat boys go through kegs! But when Scarlett meets him for the first time, there is an immediate connection. At first, she believes it is just her innocence attracting her to him and vice versa. But they both quickly realize it is something more...

Then we have Dylan. He is a sweet Abercrombie and Finch type frat boy. Scarlett loves spending time with him as he makes her feel wanted. And while they have fun together and she REALLY enjoys making out with him, something just feels off. They text and talk on the phone often throughout the week, but he only wants to see her on Saturday's. Seems suspect to me!

And I saved the best for last..Mason. He is the hot rocker bad boy that has a panty melting smile. From the moment Scarlett lays eyes on him, she falls head over heels in lust. She finds herself wanting to do things to this boy she has never done with anyone else. And he seems just as taken with her. Their connection is H-O-double-T HOTT!!!

As you can see, Scarlett has herself quite the dilemma. How the hell is she going to pick from this delish selection of man candy?!

But tragedy strikes and leaves Scarlett's world turned upside down. She has to take time to do some soul searching and get herself right again. It is during this time that the decision of who she should be with becomes clear. But is it too late? Well, you will just have to read the book to find out! And believe me, you WANT to read the book! I must warn you though, this is a To Be Continued story!!

Ariel's life has just taken a drastic turn. After being let go from her ballet company, she finds herself trying out for a traveling cirque show. During her audition, they seem to like what they see and want her to be part of it.   But she never expected it to be as a human target. She needs this time away, though, to figure out how to tell her parents (especially her mom) about being fired. So, despite some hesitation, she decides to join the cirque show.

Gabriel is your typical book bad boy. He is dark, brooding and oh so yummy. But I have to be honest, there was something about him that appealed to me on a different level then most of these bad boys do. I think it may have had to do with how sweet he was with Ariel. He was so taken by her, but knew he was bad for her. So, he did what he thought was best by staying away from her. Needless to say, he is now my new book boyfriend! 

"Because, it's real life, Ariel. The boy doesn't always get the girl."

But Ariel is determined to make Gabriel take notice of her. She is just as intrigued by him as he is by her. They slowly start spending more time together. The relationship that begins to build between them is....well, beautiful. 

This book truly blew me away. It is written magnificently. The story grabs hold of you from the very first chapter. You become invested in the characters. You will have to know how their story will end. 

This book is light on the smexy, but believe me when I say, you will not miss it! The chemistry between Gabriel and Ariel is electric. I think it only added to their story to keep things lukewarm between them. It made the build up so much better!

This book for all those who are looking for a quick read with a hot bad boy who will steal your heart and want a look at what true love looks like. Oh and did I mention, there is NO CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!
