Review & Giveaway: Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher

Best friends since they could walk.
In love since the age of fourteen.
Complete strangers since this morning.
He'll do anything to remember.
She'll do anything to forget.

I love books that are different. The ones that are so outside the box, that there isn't even a box to put them in. A book with a storyline that keeps me on my toes and refuses to let me figure out that big plot twist until it's time, even if the wait makes me want to cause bodily harm to the authors.

Never Never is definitely THAT book.

From the very beginning, I was like "WTH is going on?!?!". Page after page, chapter after chapter, the suspense of the storyline was KILLING me! There are zero in the way of clues. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. It's like leaving a trail of bread crumbs with a damn bird following behind, eating all of them. There is no going back and there is no going forward. You're just STUCK on this road that leads to nowhere. The worst part is, knowing the characters have about as much of a clue what the hell is going on as you do.

Can you tell I'm frustrated?!?!?!

This is definitely not a normal Colleen Hoover book. She is typically kind to her readers and doesn't mess with our heads. But Never Never definitely has a Tarryn Fisher stamp all of it. Total mindf**k! So, if you've never read a book from Ms. Fisher and going in strictly as a CoHo fan, please keep an open mind. And remember this is book one of a series, so you're gonna be left with one heck of a cliffhanger!

  1. Great review!
You are right, this has Tarryn's signature mindf*ckery all over it! But I adore Tarryn's books so this one was right up my alley!
I think what Colleen gave it was an emotional side that pulled at your heartstrings :)
