Which is exactly what Jane Black does, never in a million years, dreaming of the success that would come with it. I have to admit, I totally believed in the beginning Matthew was strictly in it for the inside scoop. Though he isn't your typical trashy tabloid reporter, it is still his job to report what people want to read about. And of course gossip is at the top of that list. But as the story progresses, you begin to see there is definitely something more there for him when it comes to Jane. But is he willing to break his own rules to pursue anything with her?

And to say Jane is a little gun-shy would be an understatement. She is very unsure of herself, but more importantly, of men. After the way her marriage ends, I totally don't blame her either! But it is amazing what a little flirting here and there, mixed in with some ego boosting comments will do for a woman's confidence. But even though Matthew is building her back up, is she willing to take another chance of putting her heart on the line?

This book made me feel good. It reminded me of what it feels like when you are in the beginning stages of getting to know someone. The anticipation of that first kiss and all the yummy goodness that it can lead to. And the flirty banter that comes with those first dates. . Oh, and did I forget to mention, there are definitely some very smexy moments in there too!

But that isn't all the book is about. It is also about love and forgiveness. It is about family and how important they are in our lives. It truly is a book that has a perfect balance of all those components I look for in my reads. And even though there are some tough moments in this book for Jane, Far Too Tempting also reminds you of those moments that you keep tucked away like pictures and pull out when you need to smile.
