Beckett Taylor’s quest to be a better man has brought Eve Hartt back into his life, but sometimes it feels like they’re bound together with barbed wire. Though he longs to love her without causing pain, the wreckage of their past continues to crash down around them.
Yet with the help of this brothers—and for his brothers—Beckett won’t stop trying. He’s determined to make them all a family, to make a life they want to live, and to make Poughkeepsie a place that’s safe to live it.
He can feel their futures balanced precariously on his shoulders: Blake and Livia and their children, Cole and Kyle and the new baby they’ve just brought home, and Eve…always Eve. He wants their dreams to be real. But murderers don’t just get Happily Ever After handed to them. They have to wrench it away from Satan himself.
Good thing Beckett is prepared to do just that. After all, saving Poughkeepsie is the only way his story ends.
Prepare your heart and your head for a wild ride in this final installment of the Poughkeepsie Brotherhood series. Debra Anastasia does not disappoint as she weaves the last chapter of a story that blends true love, turbulent emotions, and life’s harsh realities into an uplifting tale that calls to the good in each of us.

Beckett's book is everything I wanted it to be times a thousand, seriously, Poughkeepsie lovers are going to  inhale this book.  I read this on a warm sunny day, spent the whole day inside completely absorbed in this story.
I was trying to figure out what genre this story was, romance, thriller, crime, contemporary adult, too hard to pigeon hole this series because it has absolutely everything.
Things have changed a lot in Beckett's life since we first met him, he was a criminal, the king of Poughkeeepsie's underworld.  The one constant about him was the love he had for his brothers Blake & Cole.

His brother's lives have changed, they are both married now to "white bread" and "fairy princess."  Blake and Livvy (white bread) now have two children,  Cole and Kyle (fairy princess) are desperate to adopt a child as soon as they can.  They are moving forward with their lives and it makes Beckett feel so good to see them doing so well.

The other thing that makes Beckett feel good is his beautiful lady, Eve (killer).  He completely loves and adores this woman.  She is everything to him and the feeling is mutual from Eve.  They have returned to Poughkeepsie and the city is very different, there are some shady people who are determined to take control of the city.

Beckett has had a lot of time to reflect on his life and what he sees his future being like.  He makes a decision that will ensure Poughkeepsie is a safe place for his family to live and raise children in.  He wants to give back to the community but it will not be an easy road with Victor Vitullo looming in the background.  Vitulllo is determined to secure his bloodline and his legacy and will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

Hang on to your seats because this book is about to take you on one hell of a ride.  There is one particularly heartbreaking moment, okay there are quite a few but when you get to 'that' moment that will forever stay with you, you'll know what I'm talking about.  There is tragedy, death and new life.
The transformation of Beckett into the man who we already loved to what he becomes in this story is just wonderful.  That heart of his doesn't just pump blood through his body, it breaths life back into Poughkeepsie.

"And baby, wait until you see - I'm making Poughkeepsie so goddamn safe God himself
could take a shit with the door open on Main Street."  He spread his arms wide.
"You should put that on the town sign." - Beckett

I loved every moment of this story and give Debra a standing ovation for this stunning conclusion to this fantastic story.

I give this 5+ stars

Debra Anastasia is busy, just like every other mom. There’s dinner, the dogs, the two kids, the two kids, and her ongoing battle with…ahem… digestive issues, which combined with her adolescent boy sense of humor makes for colorful and sometimes cringe-worthy social media updates. Her first love and crowning achievement is her thriving career as the weirdest mom on the block.
Her writing started a decent handful of years ago when–along with the animals and humans in her house–the voices of characters started whispering stories in Debra’s ear. Insomnia was the gateway to plots that wouldn’t give up, wouldn’t let go. Now they stalk her everywhere. Halfway through making lunches, a twist takes hold and–fingers full of peanut butter–she finds somewhere, anywhere to write it down.
She’s eternally grateful to Omnific Publishing, which has now published four of her books: two in the Seraphim Series and two in the Poughkeepsie Brotherhood Series, as well as her novella, Late Night with Andres. That one is special because 100% of the proceeds go to breast cancer research. (So go get it right now, please!) She also very much appreciates her open-minded readers, who embrace everything she has to offer, with a focus on anti-heroes and bathroom humor.
Debra lives in Maryland with her family. You can find her at DebraAnastasia.com and on Twitter @Debra_Anastasia. But be prepared.
