Harper Jennings is a gorgeous, famous fashion designer, working under the label name Jen Harper. She is in her late 20’s and at the stage in her life where her ovaries are calling her to settle down and have a family. She is very well known publicly so nothing she does in her life is a secret, the paparazzi like to snap photos of her when she is out and she has a full time bodyguard/driver.

Harper had a well publicised battle with an eating disorder a few years ago and has recently decided to volunteer as a mentor at a local gym in their health clinic. She is introduced to Maverick, the owner of the gym and good friend of her brother Carter and his fiancé Elly. Maverick is not a fan of anyone in the fashion industry after the death of a friend to an eating disorder. He is resistant at first but eventually warms to the idea.

The fact that Harper is beautiful has not escaped him, and the feeling is very mutual. It’s not long before Maverick asks Harper out on a date and they find that the connection they have is surreal. I mean, these two are so well suited. Harper is very upfront with Maverick about what she wants in a relationship and how she wants some things in her life to change. He is definitely on the same page as her, didn't realise how much until he met Harper.

Nothing comes easy though and when an obsessed fan makes a drastic decision to get revenge on Harper all breaks loose. Is Maverick about to lose the best thing to have ever happened to him?

If you have read Wanted by You, you will be very happy to know that the whole crew are very entwined into this story so you will get plenty of glimpses into their lives.

This was a really sweet romantic read that will leave you with a smile on your face and a happy feeling in your heart.

I give this 3.5 stars.
