Okay, yep they are all there in this story. I am such a sucker for all of the above so I was completely pulled into this story right from the beginning.

Kori and Reed were high school sweethearts, that sweet young love that you think will be forever. Until one drunken mistake has Kori heartbroken as she leaves for college, leaving behind the boy who she thought loved her.

She has moved on with her life with someone who treats her like she is everything to him. They are expecting their first child together and life could not be more perfect until one fateful night when Blake is ripped away from her.

Kori returns to her hometown as a single mother, struggling to deal with her grief and raising her son, Rhett, alone. The last person she wants to see again is Reed. He used to be her best friend and seeing him again brings back all the memories of them together. Some not so good.

Reed has regretted what happened all those years ago and is determined to have Kori back in his life. Even if it is just friendship, he has missed her. Can Kori find somewhere in her already battered and broken heart the strength to forgive Reed?

I loved this story, especially all the cute interactions that Reed has with little Rhett - adorable!

I enjoy happy endings in my love stories. Loving those scenes that give it the needed angst and heat to keep you hooked and wanting more. Just enough drama to make her heart race and your stomach flutter. I haven't always been a lover of Romance and had once been addicted to a good Mystery. Just recently I have taken on a new liking and now I am addicted to Romance Novel.
