Tour, Review & Giveaway: Rock the Beat (Black Falcon #3) by Michelle Valentine

Twenty-year-old Holly Pearson never dreamed that while working at her father’s motocross track she’d run into the walking, talking definition of trouble in a sexy, tattooed package—Trip Douglas, the man sent to evaluate the track for a possible investment opportunity. Holly makes no attempt to hide the fact she despises Trip, but she learns to be civil toward him when he offers to help her land the man of her dreams.

Trip needs a break from the crazy rock-and-roll lifestyle he’s been living for the past few years. With his Black Falcon band mates settling down with marriage and babies, Trip peruses an investment opportunity in motocross, something he’s always been passionate about. Hiding his celebrity status, Trip infiltrates the new business posing as a dirt bike rider training for the X-Games. The only obstacle is the owner’s daughter, Holly. She’s a real ball bustin' Ice Queen, and she’ll do whatever it takes to make the deal fall through. Trip soon discovers that winning over his new enemy is the key to gaining a partnership in Mountain Time Speed Track.

Knowing he’s the expert on getting laid, Trip ropes Holly into becoming his ally by helping her score a date with the man she’s crushing on. The problem is, the more time Trip and Holly spend together, the more they uncover the undeniable attraction between them. Soon they both realize that even the best laid plans go to hell when you find you’re falling in love with the enemy.
**Book THREE in the Black Falcon series. Can also be read as a stand-alone novel**

In this installment of the Black Falcon series, we get to see Trip away from the rock star lifestyle and in one of his passions, motocross. While I'm a huge sucker for a rocker, I did love how Michelle went a different route with this story by not putting them all on a tour bus or in concerts repeatedly. Don't worry we still get to see the guys rock out as only they can do.

Holly's life has been rough, between a mother who left her and a father who is trying to save his striving business, she has no other choice but to drop out of college to help her save her family business.

Trip is looking for a new investment one where he can enjoy his second passion. When he gets a lead on a dwindling motocross business, he makes arrangements to check it out, under the guise that he works for the investor. Lucky for him, no one in the small town know that Trip..is well Trip. So his guise works well.

One huge problem, Holly hates him. And why you ask...cause the tattoo wearing playboy reminds her to much of her cheating, no good ex-boyfriend who just crushed her heart. But when Trip comes up with a plan to make the jerk jealous, Holly sees that with Trip there is so much more there than meets the eye.

This love story has its ups and downs. Holly is a bit naive when it comes to the men in her life. Even though her boyfriend cheats on her, she wants him back. Ugh. Really?? No thank you. But to each their own. Trip is just the man to show her that the jerk is not worth it.

This is a definite must read in the BF series. LOVED Trip!!!!!! We even get to see the other guys and their families!!! Eeeeeppppp!!! Loved that. But it left me with a lingering question.....is this the end of Black Falcon??? God I hope not!

If you love rockers and badboys, you need to read this one!
