Blog Tour: The Madam by M. Robinson

Some people need love…

I need sex, money, control, and power.

Anyone could have those four things, but only one could have VIP. Becoming Madam was never a choice for me, it was a mandated order from the most powerful woman I knew- my mother. I was born to fill her shoes, never to make mistakes, or to show weakness.

You are the product of your environment. They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree; you learn from what you see, not from what you're told. Nature vs. Nurture. I learned from it all; what I saw, what I didn't see, what I was told, and from reading between the lines.

I was raised with the belief that the world spun ONLY because of me. I held power as far back as I can remember, saw things no one ever talks about, and witnessed illegal acts of sex, drugs, and money by the time I was eighteen.

You saw a glimpse of me in VIP, now see it from the beginning. Enter my world where anything goes; no judgments, no remorse, no guilt. You play by my rules, or you don’t play at all. There are no limits to what I can do, or to what I can show you…I will ensure my legacy my any means necessary.
My name is Lilith Veronica Stone, and I am The Madam.

Warning: Book contains adult situations.
Dark content/sex/drugs/language. Mature readers only.

I didn't think it could get any better after reading VIP.

I fought liking this book. Madam was NOT going to win be over. But I should have known it was a useless fight.

She won.

Before I even started this book, I had made up my mind that I would not like it. How could I when it was about Madam, who I absolutely despised in VIP?! But after only a few chapters in, I knew I would not be able to hold on to my dislike for this character. Love her or hate her, she is honest about who she is and that alone won me over.

If you thought VIP was filled of WTF moments, you ain't seen nothing yet! The Madam is full of shocking moments that will leave you reeling and have you on the edge of your seat for more. She holds NOTHING back and slowly weaved me into her web of deceit to the point that I actually started to understand her and the choices she made. I began to wonder what the hell was wrong with me!

Her life has not been an easy one. She will try to paint it in a pretty light for you, to make you believe she never wanted for anything. But she did. She will make you believe she was incapable of feelings. She is lying. But it is those two things that turn her into who she is, which is a ruthless bitch that has no problems going after what she wants. And she is willing to steamroll over any and everyone that stands her way of getting it.

I don't want to say anything more and end up spoiling anything. I will just end it here by saying...buckle up folks, The Madam is about to take you on one hell of a ride!

“Darling, I don’t fit the part, the part fits me” -Madam

Madam gives every alpha male out here in book world a run for their money. You want to measure cocks? Hers is BIGGER! There is no one like her. SHE IS A BEAST! *Grins* An unstoppable, non negotiable BEAST.

What readers know after reading VIP:
She’s bad and she knows it.
She’s unapologetic and she knows it.
She’s confidant and she shows it in EVERY move she makes.

‘For you to understand my life you need to live it. I don’t know if reading about it will do it justice, nonetheless, I am going to try. There are always three sides to every story, yours, mine, and the truth. I deserve a chance to explain myself. Love me or hate me, it’s who the fuck I am. Madam.’

In this supremely character driven story we watch Lilith Stone go from childhood in to adulthood as the truth of who she will one day become is made clear to her early on in her youth. Not only was she going to be a VIP, she is also to be the Madam. Even as a child Lilith never misses a beat, she takes it all in. The lifestyle...but mostly the power...she becomes enraptured by it in her teens. Learning from the best, her very own mother Vivian Stone, at the time better known as The Madam.

I would let her train me, mold me, and teach me everything I needed to know.
But...I would never be like her.
I would be better.

M. Robinson tackles important pieces from each decade as Lilith grows and eventually becomes The Madam.

I think readers are use to seeing males as the dominant, controlling, sadistically cold hearted bastards. Well, Madam is a dominant, controlling, sadistically cold hearted bitch. So be prepared. She is calculated and she does nothing by mistake it’s always part of a bigger plan. She will scheme and manipulate until she gets what she wants.

By the end of the book tails will wag. I’m like a bitch in heat I need my next fix. I NEED BOOK 3!

My head is still spinning. This book is TOTALLY different from VIP in many, many ways..Where as VIP had a slow crawl to the story line filled with anticipation for worlds to collide, and some very hot sex scenes, giving us dual pov’s with one very conflicted character(Seb) while the other was assertive and strong willed(Ysa). The Madam was the opposite; its fast paced, with only Lilith’s pov and boy is it one HELL of a pov, she is very ambitious, and on top of that there is a high sexual charge that permeated throughout the entire book.

My Thoughts
The Madam starts and ends with a BANG! I don’t think anyone is ready for Madam. That chick is a problem and I figured that out in VIP but it was made abundantly clear once I read the Prologue for Madam. People are going to love Madam and hate her and then hate her some more, it’s that kind of book.

My Rating and Why
This book took 5 STARS from me. Yup, it snatched each star right out of my grubby hands. Has that EVER happened to you? I gladly allowed each star to leave my grasp of course.
The Madam is a character driven story fueled with twists and unexpected turns. Each page had me spellbound and eager to know what would happen next. The writing was excellent and the story telling was beyond intriguing. Do I sound a bit bias? You bet your ass I am but it does not matter. Why? The proof is in the pudding! READ THE BOOK!

**Before you read The Madam, be sure and read book 1: VIP**
32 year old Sebastian Vanwell, was a very successful yacht broker, who always loved the design
and architecture of a luxurious boat. His only addiction was being on  the water. He loved it, he thrived on it, and he needed it in his life.  After a very stable, loving childhood with only a few bumps, Sebastian  married the love of his life. The one person that he knew would always be there. Julia was his rock, and he loved her more than life itself.  Sebastian kept his addiction to the water under control, wanting to keep his time with his wife and son his number one obsession, that was until he saw her. This new addiction haunted him, the one compulsion that he  couldn't control no matter how hard he tried.

Ysabelle Telle hit  him hard, knocking the wind from his lungs. Coming from worlds apart, beautiful, dark complexion Ysabelle Telle didn't have the rich, protected background that Sebastian Vanwell had. Ysabelle lived a life  of hell, in poverty, growing up with a drug addict mother that never cared, and horrific living conditions. Ysabelle lived for one person and one person only; herself. She was pure perfection, her beauty along  with a flawless body had men lined up, driveling over her ensuring her success as a VIP.

There are too many words that describe the effects when two diverse worlds like theirs collide. They both have too much to lose to get caught in the forceful pull, which could destroy them both.

Warning sex/drugs/language. Mature readers only
