Blog Tour Review, Excerpt & Giveaway: Euphoria by Erin Noelle

After a series of catastrophic misunderstandings and impulsively poor decision-making, Scarlett MacGregor finds herself once again torn between two loves, as different as they may be. Lacking proper closure with their relationship, accompanied by the overwhelming guilt for her role in his devastating downfall, Scarlett resolves to help Mason recover and reclaim his life as a budding rock star. However, now that he has finally claimed her as his, Ash Walker is bound and determined to keep her by his side, and he will go to any lengths necessary to do just that.

Mason Templeton has hit rock bottom. He’s in love with a girl whose heart and soul belong to another and he’s partied his way off of an international music tour that was supposed to be his big break. Returning home for rehab sounds like the worst possible way to start a new year, but when an unexpected friendship emerges, he begins to realize that maybe everything does happen for a reason.

Euphoria is the third and final installment of Scarlett, Ash, and Mason’s self-discovering journeys to happiness and understanding the meaning of true love ~ the kind that begs for complete surrender.

Recommended for readers 17+ due to sexual content and harsh language.

*ARC provided by author for an honest review*

I have tried writing the review several different times with no spoilers. But it is proving to be difficult because it is hindering me from writing how the book truly made me feel. So, I am just going to write what I feel and let you know now, my review WILL contain spoilers for those that have not read this book.

First, I am going to start off by saying, I didn't pick my wings until book two. I fell for both Ash and Mason equally in book one, but there was something about Mason in book two that just pulled me to him more. For those who have read Ambrosia, you know things didn't work out so well for Mason getting a HEA. And even though it hurt, I sucked it up and made myself be okay with how things were turning out. This was Scar's story after all and if it was Ash that made her the happiest and who her future was with, then I wished them well.

So, I went into Euphoria knowing it would be Ash and Scar's story with a side of Mason. I held out hope Mason would get his happily ever after though, no matter who it was with. At the end, I just wanted to see everyone happy with their lives. And I would say I got all of that, just not in the way I was expecting.

But I understand it.

Real life is messy and sometime shit happens. Yes, we all want to read books to escape the realities around us but how dull would the book world be if every ending was rainbows and unicorns?? Things did not play out for any of the characters the way I imagined them to, but I am okay with that. Life rarely happens the way we hope it will but we make the best of the hand we are dealt and try to find the happiness in it.

I know people are upset with Erin for writing the story the way she did. But it was her story to tell and she let it lead her where it needed to go. We as readers become so attached to our characters that we sometimes begin to almost see them as real people. So naturally the death of someone who was such a huge part of this series is going to be traumatic. But at the end of the day, they are just fictional characters given to us by a very real person, who has feelings. So, no matter if you are happy with the outcome or not, be kind in your reviews!

Euphoria is the awesome conclusion to Scarlett's story.  At the end of book two she is in a relationship and in love with Ash when she gets a phone call from a friend of her ex boyfriend Mason, she rushes to his hospital bedside to support him.
A lot of the readers of this series are either Team Ash or Team Mason, right through all three books and I honestly switched several times during this book. Scarlett has grown up a lot and after what she been through in the last two years, she seems to be making really good decisions now.  Ash is just the sweetest guy and he completely adores her, Mason is still in love with her but has had to accept that she loves Ash and all he will get from her now is friendship.
I don't want to spoil this with any more details about the story. You will not get the unwelcome feeling of predictability because Erin knows how to lull you in and then BAM something you just did not expect takes you in another direction - love books like this :)
This is a freaking awesome series so I highly recommend all three books.  I suppose you could call this a love triangle series and yep there is plenty of angst along the way but what I love about these books is that they make you feel.
I give this 4.5 stars

Embracing her one last time, I whispered in her ear, “I love you, butterfly… ‘your curves

and all your edges, and all your perfect imperfections.’ I’ll see you tomorrow night.”

“I love you, too, Ash. ‘You’re my end and my beginning; even when I lose, I’m winning,’”

she whispered back. Then she grabbed her bag and headed for the security check point. Right

before turning the corner where I couldn’t see her anymore, she looked back at me and blew me

a kiss and made hand hearts. Damn, she was beautiful. I stood there for several minutes with a

goofy ass grin on my face. I wasn’t expecting her to sing the next lyrics of the song to me, but it

filled me with an indescribable feeling of warmth and love. ~Ash
