When his anger at seeing her after all these years collides with her shock… Emotions reach an all time high of EPIC PROPORTIONS.
But do not get it twisted once the smoke clears he claims his female in true alpha male form! MINE.

This book was right up my alley an uber alpha male and a woman in need of his protection. Seriously what more can a girl ask for.. OH WAIT, I KNOW! MORE UBER ALPHA MALE HOTTIES! THAT’S WHAT! *Grinning* The testosterone oozed off the pages. Literally.
Harper Sloan kept me glued to my Kindle, I was totally sucked in from the first page! I immensely enjoyed her writing style! And I very much look forward to her work in the future!

1) How
did Axel’s character come to be? Axel
was actually the first and only thing I knew for sure would happen. I had him, his looks, his
background…everything planned before I even thought about who else would play a
part. He just popped in my head and wouldn’t
leave. He’s stubborn like that. J
2) Do
you already have a female lineup of characters established in your mind for the
remaining males in the Corps Security series? YES! Each and every hero officially has their lady
named and ready to cause some trouble!
I’m particularly in love with Greg’s woman, Melissa.
3)
Which scene did you find yourself having to rewrite the most? Good question! That’s a toss-up between the prologue and the
dock scene. The prologue for obvious
reasons…it’s so very hard to put myself in that scene and feel like I was able
to convey the emotions and pain correctly AND tastefully. I didn’t want to go too far but at the same
time I didn’t want to leave out the emotion needed to understand Izzy. As for the dock scene…it was hard for me to
get Axel’s emotions out and still keep his integrity as a character. I think I rewrote that one about 15 times.

When you first decided to write this book, did you initially plan to name it
Axel? If not what other names did you have for the book? It was always about him.
Well…that’s a lie. Before I had
only planned on one book. I didn’t plan
on making the supporting characters as big as they were. I never got past wanting to have ‘fate’ in
the title…then the more I wrote and the stronger those other sexy men became in
my head…the Corps Security series was born.
And after that…the titles were the easy part! J
5) Who
are some of your favorite authors and how have they inspired you? THIS is a tough one. I am a HUGE Kristen Ashley fan. When I read my first KA book I was hooked and
demanded more alpha men. Trouble with
that, they are almost impossible to find like she makes them. That was when I found the indie author world
and I was hooked. Katy Evans, Andrea
Smith, Jay Crownrover, Ella Frank…there are so many more…oh so many. I feel like I have forgotten someone—and I
hate that, but just know there are so many amazing women that I look up to like
you wouldn’t believe!
6) Do
you have any other book/s you’re currently working on? Or is the Corps Security
series your top priority as of right now? The
Corps boys are my only priority right now.
Maybe down the road some straggler will take up residence in my brain
and refuse to leave—but for now I have my hands full with these men!
