Genre: YA Romance
There are simply no words enough to describe how sexy he is, especially when he throws his head back as he comes, his hand moving fast---
I look at him guiltily.
Exasperation lines his voice as he asks, “You were fantasizing again?”
“Sorry,” I answer shamefacedly. “Force of habit.”
~KC and Yuki
She's a good girl with a secret...
Katerina Chariot is the good girl, so good in fact she can't even curse properly. Instead of swearing like the typical American with words like shit fuck or ass. When she goes to curse she finds herself suddenly spouting British swear words. Crazy I know, but hey that's her habit none the less. Katerina is known affectionately as KC and loves to fantasize about the hot guys in her school. KC also draws inspiration from her sexual fantasies to use for her mangaka comics.
'In my fantasies, it’s always just the hot guy and me. Everything’s sizzling and steamy,
with all the groaning and writhing naked bodies you’d expect from a smutty romantic Japanese
comic book. It’s called a shoujo manga, actually, and it’s the kind I’m hoping I can draw one day.' ~Inner monologue of Katerina
Mangaka is a style of Japanese comic art. KC is an aspiring artist and shoujo manga is her specialty. Lines get blurred during a fantasy in class for Katerina. Her object of affection catches his name coming from her lips.
Yuki Humura a classmate who is half-Japanese half-Russian hears her moaning his name out loud in class and decides to take matters in to his own hands. Literally.
'Of all the beautiful guys in the Immaculate Heart Academy – and there are a lot – Yuki has been my favorite since he transferred barely a year ago. Yuki is tall, buffed, and gorgeous: all essential elements that have made him material-worthy for my fantasies. ~Inner monologue of Katerina
He is what wet dreams are made of...
Yuki is one of the hottest guys in school all every girl at school wants to be his girlfriend but Yuki doesn't do the girlfriend thing... Nope, Yuki prefers to have toys. Toy's meaning girls he can play with bringing both him and the girl pleasure. Sexually.
Once Yuki is aware of KC's...interest he wants her as his new toy.
“So, senpai, how long have you been thinking about having
sex with me?” ~Yuki
Katerina agrees to be Yuki's toy. Unfortunately she also agrees to keep it a secret. This makes seeing Yuki in school hard; especially when he is being groped by different girls on a daily basis.
“So…what about you? Boundaries?”
“Just one, senpai.”
He says almost sadly, “Just don’t fall in love with me.”
Oh. ~Katerina and Yuki
I love you...
One thing Katerina knows she is happy about is Yuki and all the pleasure he brings. Keeping her virginity in tact has Yuki playing sex games. Sex games that leave her on edge and constantly horny. She starts to use Yuki as her her muse for Mangaka comics. And things are going well until Katerina's dad gets home. Her dad, Jason, is a theology teacher traveling often comes with the job. And no, he may not be a preachy dad towards her but she still finds it hard to be the "free spirited wild child" she plays in her fantasies.
Her fun and games take a turn when Jason returns from an out of town event, only to discover his sweet innocent daughter is not so sweet and innocent. Katerina admits to loving Yuki amidst the commotion with her dad, SHOCKING Yuki.
It's the one thing he told her to never do...
I had a hard time rating this. Did I like it? Yes.
I think this book is best suited for anyone 17 and older that enjoys their YA's to be on the spicy side.
I thought the writing was okay. I kind of got annoyed with the usage of Yuki's term of endearment for Katerina, "Senpai." Yeah, it was cute and all he just said it... A LOT. Also the scene changes was a little rough. I found it to sometimes be sudden/abrupt leaving me to reread scenes. So I definitely thought that could have been done a little smoother.
Overall I found it was a fun read!
Writing Style- Good
Steam Factor- High/Very Steamy
Overall- I liked it!
Now go forth and read. Then come tell us about it!
